My name is Taylor, and my pronouns are he/him. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Psychology, my Masters in Clinical Counseling Psychology, and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I work from an existential and attachment base and work relationally to clarify, reflect upon, and understand life. To really get to know yourself, what motivates you, what influences your choices and decisions. Get to the heart of what is meaningful to you and how to keep on your journey with confidence and intention. There is healing through relating and we will explore your emotions, your thoughts, motivations, and expectations of yourself and others. At time we will put our thoughts aside to focus on emotions, and focus on the specifics and patterns, to make something come alive here and now.
I am currently accepting new clients for telehealth appointments weekday evenings between 5pm and 8pm and 8am to 7pm weekends. I also can offer in home therapy at your residence on an as needed basis pending availability. I do not work with/take insurance, however I can provide superbills for you to submit for reimbursement as I am considered an Out Of Network Provider. Please email or call to request an appointment that works everyone.

WHILE MANY GREAT THERAPISTS MAY ACCEPT YOUR INSURANCE I AM CURRENTLY NOT TAKING INSURANCE AT THIS TIME. I GLADLY ACCEPT ALL MAJOR DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS, I USE IVYPAY AS MY CONFIDENTIAL CARD ON FILE METHOD OF PAYMENT.
WHAT INFORMATION DOES MY INSURANCE RECEIVE?
It is important for you to understand that whenever you use your insurance to pay for mental health or medical care, the insurance company has the right to information about you. Companies vary in the questions they ask, the amount of documentation they require, their access to your records and the frequency with which I will have to justify your therapy to them.
I make every effort to preserve your privacy in the medical record while documenting the information both required legally and to secure insurance reimbursement. Your insurance company will expect you to be aware that they reimburse for ‘medically necessary’ services. They may also require you to telephone yourself to request pre-authorization for mental health care. Once I have your consent, I will file claims for your therapy for reimbursement. I do not, however, obtain pre-authorization on your behalf.
Many clients chose to pay for therapy out of pocket/self/private pay because this ensures maximal privacy and confidentiality. In this circumstance, you have maximum control of who may access your records and you control what we discuss, how long we work, which are factors that your insurance company and benefit plan may have influence over whenever you utilize insurance, such as setting pre-determined time limits. As a general policy, it is my practice to discuss disclosure of your private information in advance.
Confidentiality is covered in my Practice Consent forms available through the Client Portal.
